I have a leaking front driver's side strut, so I am going to go ahead and replace them all around - the car has 140,000 on it, so it's probably overdue anyways. I've been looking for replacements, and I have found some where the spring is already installed over the strut and it is ready to be installed - suspension components are the one part of my vehicle I am not too comfortable working on. One kit in particular I am looking at is the Tokico HPK kit located here:
STM - DSM SUSPENSION |SPRINGS | SHOCKS | COLIOVERS | BRAKES | ROTORS | KITS
Does anybody have any experience with these? I've got stock rims, no bodykit or any of that stuff and plan on keeping it this way as well.
I see that it would end up in a 1.75" drop - I would like to maintain a relatively stock ride - would these completely trash that? If so, any suggestions? And if I do go with something like this, is there anything else that I would need?
If you need any information, let me know.
Thanks!
