Question about rear Megan strut bar

Okay, went through searches and such, but didn't see an answer. Also, mods, please move this to Handling if necessary.

To the question, upon putting one of these on, will it still allow the hatch cover to close completely?

Strut bars don't go near the hatch.

The strut bar mounts to the top of the stuts, under neath a little cover on each side of the interior in the trunk. Just open the hach and look at the sides and you will see two little square covers, pull them up and it mounts across there. So it will affect the opening and the closing of the hach in now way. I hope that answers your question.

You can still leave on your cargo cover is you want too. Pop off the 2 cover's covering the strut, Thats where they go.

Sorry for the wrong wording, had meant cargo cover instead of hatch cover . Thanks for replies and answers.

My MR rear strut bar clears the bottom of the hatch cover by a matter of millimeters, but it does clear it. You should be fine. I still have to drill a hole in each of the plastic trim pieces for the bars, but other than that, it works great.
