What is the best way to block off the coolant line going from the oil filter housing? Right now I have a small hose with a bolt in it but that's not working too well.

Thanks guys, and I wanted to block it off because I have non cooled OFH so it has nowhere to go.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/443552-what-where-does-go-what-does-do-merged-3.html#post153128128 -- It is called the "engine oil cooler water inlet pipe".This is the closest I could find to my problem. my hard coolant line to the oil filter housing has a small hole thats leaking. Right where the back bottom o2 housing stud is. I tried using quick steel and some other puddy "weld" but it will not hold after it warms up. My question is what will work to hold the heat abd pressure? Or where can I buy a new one and whats this pipe called? 1998 eclipse gst. Thanks guys
In general, oil coolers are recommended, not required for the daily driver. Plenty of people run without them to disprove it might be doing some harm.Btw, i have seen a write up and there are a few people that delete the oil cooler to free up space for the DP. For a normal weekend car that doesnt see the 1/4 mile too often, would oil temp become an issue? I dont plan on it myself but im just curious. The upside is less coolant lines to potentially break. Less stuff in engine bay=less shit to break. Has anyone done a back to back oil temp reading with and without the cooler?
