Question about motor swap??

I have a 97 eclipse that I'm doing a motor swap on. I am building another 7 bolt motor. The motor that I'm swapping is from a 95.
I know there is a difference between the CAS sensors.
So am I going to need a different wiring harness? Or will everything plug directly in?

Just use your intake cam from the '97 and the CAS and you will be fine.

But doesn't the head from a 97 have the sensor on it and the head from a 95 doesn't?

The '95/'96 have a cam and crank sensor on the timing side of the motor, and the '97 has it back on the pass. side. If you use the '97 CAS, you will just need to put the '97 intake cam in as it has the threads in the end for the '97 CAS to bolt on to. Then it just plugs into your existing harness.

I actually have FP cams going in on the 95 head. Will it still work?
