420A question about interchangable neon parts

A lady friend of mine needs a new alternator for her 95 neon DOHC. Does anyone know if these alternators will work?

By 'these' I mean a 2g n/t alternator

not sure but I know a way to find out.... go to Autozone.com and look up an alternator for one of the cars and right down the part #. Then look up the other cars alternator and see if the part #s are the same. If so you should be fine. I did this for a different car I used to own and it worked fine.

if both engines are the same then it should work

It will work, but I am unsure if it will bolt up to the brackets correctly. Might need a small modification. Do the autozone part # things, thats the best way I have used.

Any one no if a 95 neon power stearing pump and lines will fit the eclipse

A 420a is a 420a. The alternators will mount up fine. I’d just pay attention to the output and see if there’s a difference between the neon and eclipse.

The power steering pump will work but you should double check about line length as they may be different.

The alternators are different for Neons and Eclipses.
