- Bought the car in Florida. Paint and seats are rough, and need to fix one of the bow mounts for the top. Drove the car all home and started flushing the coolant system only to discover previous owner ran "Blue Devil" through it because it had a head gasket leak. (I only determined this after doing a compression test because the car was building boost but didnt have any "Get up and go" once i started to do the flush.) Head is currently off the car while attempting to replace the head gasket but broke two studs on the passenger side motor mount bracket (The plate that mounts to the transmission that the motor mount bolts too.) that were welded to the plate, and in the process of trying to find one (Unless i decide to buy two new studs, grind and drill the old ones out and weld these one into place.) Also in need of an alternator. Plan on doing a BS Delete and bigger oil pump/water pump upgrade since i already have the engine tore down this far. If you have any recommendations on what i can do to the car mechanical wise or supporting wise (As far as putting a T-28/16G on it) Please let me know!
