Is the HX35 the same as a HX35W?

Different series. The commercial unit is the HX35W and has a different wastegate and is a 14 cm housing.

If external which wastegate should i run around 25+psi?

Look at 1G DSM4g63 profile and you would find out.

I also run HX-40 myself.

You need to take it easy. Switching from 16g to a HX40 is a big thing. Just to cram the big turbo in is a lot of work. You also need to upgrade the fuel system, fmic, and per internals along with something like DSMLink to tune. And your car will no longer be a daily driver.

Based on your profile, it'll cost you anywhere from $2000-$10000.

Ive started a build.. 500whp
Block and head at the machine shop now.
Going to run 950 injectors and meth...Possibly a fmic...But im looking at the bulleyes smic
272 cams...im going to be ready for the hx40
