Ok, so I had done some searches about this before and found a few posts that all said if on your OBDII connector pin 1 had a metal contact in it, you have keyless entry. It seems as though this might be bad info first of all... I tried to program it, but never received confirmation that it went into programming mode following the directions. So today I popped the rear panel off, and I'm pretty sure I see the connectors where the keyless entry controller should be, but no controller itself. So if someone could maybe confirmed that these connectors that are taped together (from the factory it looks like) are the connectors where it would be connected:

Now the second part of this question... I assume that if I can find a controller I can just pop it in here and program a remote and have my keyless entry working? I haven't researched availability/cost of this controller, so I am also wondering if it would even be worth it to try, or just go with an aftermarket 2-way alarm w/keyless?

It would probably be cheaper and better to get an aftermarket system put in mate.

Yeah, I might just go with a 2-way alarm/keyless entry setup anyway... Just didn't know if those modules could be had cheap or if it was that simple as a swap-in. I see there are two plugs in the loom there, but when I looked a few up on eBay I see a "keyless entry module" which is one small box on a metal bracket but looks like it only has 1 connector in it... I saw one listed that was different than all the others that had 2 boxes on that bracket, each one with it's own connector... Does the keyless use only one of the plugs or both?
