I have a question about if I can install PTE 1000cc injectors with an Evo 9 fuel pump without an afpr? I'm only running 18psi or less of boost with a 14b turbo. I'm currently running Evo 9 560cc injectors with Evo 9 pump (rewired). Also, I tune with ecmlink. I will be getting a Fuelab 515 afpr soon, but should I wait to install until I get the afpr? Thanks for any help.

So your only changing the injectors? You should be fine. the only time a afpr is a concern is if your upgrading the pump, mainly with a 255 or bigger pump where over run would become a consern for the stock regulator.

Is the EVO 9 fuel pump big enough for 1000cc injectors?

At base pressure on 14v it's good for about 200 l/h and 4 1000cc/min injectors @ 85% duty cycle is 3400 cc/min or 204 l/h. Since your not going to be at base pressure but perhaps 20-30 psi higher under boost when you hit that duty cycle and the pump output falls off as the pressure rises you seem a little short.

Assuming I did the math correctly :)

You can run 1000cc's off a stock pump if you wanted, once you get to the boost level where your afr's won't match your target afr table(no mater how much you adjust your SD table) you know the pump is maxed, is it suggested.. No.. but if you just want to swap in the injectors and upgrade the pump down the road it won't hurt.

OK I may try to install them and see what happens. I do have a supra tt pump, but need an afpr to run it correctly. Another question would the supra tt pump run e85? Also, would a new stock fuel filter be OK or would I need a new upgrade filter like the fuelab series?
