Question about coolant system issue I had

Ok, the other day I was test driving my car after I installed the new sbr cast manifold. everything was good, but when i got back i popped the hood, just to check the manifold, etc. but to my surprise I find coolant leaked out overywhere. what happened was the coolant cap located on top of the thermostat housing was loose. anyone ever have an issue with this happening? havent touched the coolant system since i bought the car 4-5 months ago

sometimes the coolant system overpressurizes and does that. had it happened again since you tightened the cap?

well, i just diagnosed the problem and fixed it. i havent driven the car yet since it happened, so i couldnt tell you
