Question about clicking noise when i shift

Hey guys, my 99 eclipse is my first car that i've driven stick with. I noticed that sometimes when i shift gears i hear a clicking sound when my window is down that comes as soon as i press in the clutch. Now this usually only happens when i have a urge to get on it and shift a little faster than usual, or when i don't gas it enough and my car bucks or shakes a little, at which point i hear the same shakey/clicky sound. It doesn't sound bad, but I'm new and im not exactly sure what it is. Is it normal?

Does your clicky sound go up and down with engine RPM?

nahh, its more of a thing when i push in the clutch mainly

Throw out bearing, bent pressure plate finger, loose bellhousing dust cover, bit of smacked skunk wrapped around axle, failing CV joint, or something else altogether.

Check your bell housing for cracks. Might be a throwout bearing, Does your clutch disengage at the floor or sometimes you have to double clutch to get it in gear? If so then I suggest check the tranny and check the Throw out bearing. It will save your tranny in the long run.

i think its likely its hte loose bellhousing cover because it sounds like a loose rattle or shaking. The same noise also comes when i turn off the car and the car does the little rumble down, it sounds like a small rattling or shaking as if something is loose.

Any instructions on how to check this cover?

sounds like a bad catalytic converter to me... my van had a sound kinda like that (cept it's automatic...) and the cat had gone bad and was rattling around in the housing.
