ok well here goes i have a front mount intercooler with 2.5 inch aluminum piping.....I just purchased a HKS BOV on a 2.0 inch about 6 inch pipe that is i believe steel...I was wondering could i just buy coupler reducers from 2.5 to 2.0 snf just coupler it in the place of my other BOV...Does it matter that that small 6inch pipe is 2.0 inch and not 2.5 inch.. Let me know what you think

Can you cut any of the pipe off making it less than 6 inches without it being too short? I dont see it being a major problem, but it would almost in a sense be like the whole system being 2 inch since it has to drop down to 2" right before the throttle body. I wouldnt think it could hurt anything, I would say run it for now if you have to, but plan on replacing it in the near future.

Well it will work but its ghetto, I would suggest going to a shop and having them make your piping work with your bov, welding on a flange should cost you around $40-60. The flange is the hard thing to come by, might as well get it first if noone around your area has it. (assuming it didnt come with your piping)

Are you working with all stock upper piping?

If you have aftermarket aluminum with your FMIC, get some pipe to fit in place of your old BOV, a flange to fit the HKS and send me all your upper piping. Ill weld it all up - no need for couplers.

Yea i have aftermarket aluminum piping that came already on the car...It come from the throttle body elbow coupler down right before the stock bov there a coupler and then it goes straight down to the intercooler coupler...Then i need to find a hks aluminum flange right??
