Question about boost controller

Hey I just bought a joe p boost controller and a boost gauge. I was going to put them in and turn up the boost but then I was reading the forums and I saw that a lot of people were saying that you need injectors and a walboro fuel pump. Later I want to do a turbo upgrade so I was just going to put a 225 pump in. I wanted to know if I need these other items before I turn up the boost. Also how much can I turn up the boost if I dont need these things my engine is stock except for 2.5" catback exhuast and a turbo xs blow off valve. The free mods were done as well. If some one could guide me I would appreciate it. Thank you.

With the Mods that you have right now, 15psi will be fine.

If you go with the 255 get a FPR along with it. You dont need that stuff but watch out for fuel cut you should be fine up to about 15PSI.

Anytime you install a 255lph pump you should definitely look into getting injectors and a fuel pressure regulator asap. If you're on the stock turbo (t-25) i would say its not as big of a deal but you defnitely need to get on that. Make sure youre running a safe amount of boost in the meantime while you dont have all of your fuel mods done yet. While it may cost some money now, it can save you hundreds possibly even thousands to have your vehicle tuned and running properly.
