Guys, I know for a fact my motor mounts are worn out, on sudden acceleration I can feel everything just wobble. Looking under the hood also reveals some pretty worn out/cracked rubber in the mounts.

Now all of the sudden first and 2nd gear go in ok, but the more I go to the right, the harder they get. meaning 3rd and 4th are stiffer, and fifth goes in really tight as well as reverse.

I had previously repaired the tranny, I had replaced the 1 and 2nd gear assembly. synchros/rings/hub/slider/etc. as well as reverse idler gear because first gear was popping out. The car has been fine since then till today. First gear popped out today again.

here are my questions.

1. Can bad mounts and possibly bad shift cables cause first gear to pop out under deceleration in first gear?
2. Are the symptoms of my gears going in harder as I move to the right symptoms of bad shift cables?

Thanks in advance for the replies :)

your on the right track, make sure that the mount for the cables to trans is tight, and in line
I"ll see when I have a chance to check that out. Monday i'll be installing Megan Coilovers so I'll check it then most likely.
