I have had my eclipse for a couple of weeks and the previouse owner did not have the speedometer working after the 6 bolt swap. How do i get the speedometer to work for a 95 gsx with a 6 bolt engine?

plug in the vehicle speed sensor on the tranny. should be a cable running thru the firewall and it screws into the tranny good luck

the 6 bolt swap in a 2g uses the 2g tranny. The speed sensor screws into it near one of the mounts. It is possible that the sensor was not reconnected or that it has gone bad. Check the connection first, then replace the sensor. Sometimes the seal on the sensor wears out and allows dirt and water to enter which shorts out the electronics.

can someone post up a picture so that i can see where the cable is located and how it connects to the tranny or mount? Can i also get a pic of which mount it is and located?

Thanks.

i1nk83, 2gs are electric. There's no cable to attach. I'm pretty sure the sensor sits behind the bell housing part of the tranny.
