I just added a catch can to both the PVC and that other line that goes to the engine. (dont know what its called). Well, i was wondering if improperly connected will that cause me to stall when i roll to a stop? It's not clutch engagement issues. When i come to a stop, the car dies and i just turn the keys and restart. I know that witht the PVC line disconnected, the car idles like Sh+t and dies. So is it the catch can mod that i did that is causing me to stall? is the catch can supposed to have some vent or is it completely closed?

Uhh...

Please tell me you capped the line going to the intake manifold?

If you just rerouted your two lines coming off the valve cover to each other (or to the ground) and didn't cap the line coming off the intake, you'll have a massive vacuum leak. This will cause the engine to run really lean (unmetered air entering the engine) and it can potentially kill your engine after long periods of time.

EDIT: Oh yeah, it's PCV (positive crankcase ventilation), not PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC is the white plastic pipe you see at Home Depot that's used in sewage, water, and sprinkler systems.

alright, i had both done already. My car was stalling bad maybe due to me forgeting to tighten some things. Thanks.
