I picked up a talon couple months back. I got it cheap :D but never thought you could do so much damage with a broked timing belt. After I assesed the damege the car had really really bad head dented pistons on 1 and 4, bad front bumper, starting to go paint, ok interior. :ohdamn:

After thinking about it for awhile, I decided it is still worth fixing. I got a used head for $170 got it shaved for $50. Got a head set for $130. New tensioner for $45 new belts with timing belt for $80. Used evo 8 pistons $90. New piston rings and rod bearings for $130.New bumper cover (converting it to eclipse cause talon bumpers are so damn rare) with fog lights for $130. I got a friend that works at napa so I get really good deals.

All im waiting for now is the piston rings. If everything goes well I will have 2 running dsms.:hellyeah:
