profec B air filter

Ok i installed my profec b (original) today (stealth install with pics coming very soon) and i was wondering if it was a big deal or not if i dont have the air filter that is supposed to go inline with the vaccum hose to the back of the boost controller. OR is there anything i could get at autozone similar ? The purpose from what i found is to keep oil from going into the EBC, but i dont see it happening with the lenght of hose im using.

I know that it is cheap to replace...... However, I once had to order a replacement wiring harness for my Greddy Profec B-Spec 2, and it took about 6 weeks to get to me.

The filter is a more common part and may be ready to ship out immediately. Just call them and ask.
