Problems with Profec B Spec II

Well I can't get this thing figured out. I want a constant 14 psi. I have a 91 gsx with 14b. I have the boost controller on and the readout on the controller is my only clue to how much boost I am running. But from the readout on the controller boost spikes to 14.5 then drops down to like 11.5 psi. if I try to turn it up the spike just gets larger. What do I do?

I know exactly what you mean. I'm still trying to get my Profec B fine tuned. As far as the spiking goes, you need to turn down your start boost setting (set gain). The start boost setting determines how quick your turbo spools but if its set too high you will get a boost spike. Just play with it some more and you'll get the hang of it.

what are the three settings on yours? mine are like set 30 gain 35 and set gain is like 40 or something I think close enough.
