montreal,
Hi i have a 2g eclipse and im having a problem with my clutch, after i drive it for a little while my clutch starts to slip and my pedal feels more stiff, it slips so much that sometimes i cant even take off. I loosened the clutch hose and retitened it and then the pedal felt good again and stoped slipping for a while and then it was slipping again , so i replaced the clutch hose and the clutch was working fine, longer than ususal and as i thought my problem was solved it started again so i replaced the slave cylinder last night drove for a bit everything was fine,i drove it to work this morning my pedal started to feel stiff and it felt like it was gonna start slipping again but i guess i didnt drive long enough. HELP ME PLEASE i need to fix this thanks

Ya but when i loosen the clutch hose bolt the clutch and pedal work fine.

this looks like it could solve my problem im gonna try it tonight thanks allot

Like Delta stated. Adjust the clutch properly first then if it still happens with a perfect adjusted hydro system then the disk may be shot.

i have a quick question, if it was not adjusted properly wouldnt it be slipping all the time? or the friction point would be high all the time?

So i adjusted my pedal, i just changed the master cylinder, so now when im driving the friction point on my pedal is really high when the car is warmed up and it starts to slip about 30 min of driving. What can it be help me im getting desperate.
