About two weeks ago i replaced a bad tps in my talon, and today I finally got my hands on a volt meter to adjust it. In my Haynes manual, it says to connect the volt meter to tps wires 1 and 4 for a 2.0 turbo, I connected the v-meter directly to the tps(w/ connected off) with the ingniton in on position but got no reading. Then I connected it to wires 1 and 3(correct wires for adjusting 2000 V6 model) and there was a reading of 840 ohms. There was no reading for any other wire combinations.
So right now I'm really confused. My guess is that either I'm going about it all wrong, or Checker Auto gave me the TPS for a 2000 Eclipse. What do you guys think? Thanks.
