Hey guys, I'm new to these boards.. I just bought a 91 Eclipse GSX that needed afew minor things.. Everyhing has been fixed (except engine threw a code of a bad knock sensor).. When i start the car, It rev's up to about 1800rpm until warm and drops to idle like it should.. However, when the car gets to idling, it starts to run rough, bog a bit and it finally dies. IF you try to give it gas, even when the rpm's are up, it sputters out, almost dies. Almost like it is starving for air? Also, The boost gauge never goes up, like there is no boost. When you give it gas, and it sputters, the boost gauge actually staty all the way down at the -7 mark.. When you let off the gas, it goes back to the neutral "0" mark. Anyway, other than a couple frustrating water leaks, that is my only problem of getting this car on the road.. any thoughts??

Thanks,

Adam

Sounds kinda of like what happened to me. My throttle body cable was to loose, so id say check the throttle body and see if it looks all good.
