Alright so I fully restored my motor top to bottom sealed everything nice and tight down to torque specs and didn't go cheap what so ever on the rebuild and is also dead on time . For the most part every sensor is new also. Along with wires and plugs. It started up fine and everything but I need to help it stay running or it will die with out hesitation. I have no cels at all yet still is acting up bad.. when helping it idle it sounds like a really bad misfire and back fire repeatedly the higher the rpms go the harder the back fire.. also seems to wanna jump 2k rpms on its own randomly .. I been looking over it every day can't figure it out at all... Any ideas what's going on ? I don't have any boost leaks or vacc leaks I can find. What's going on plz
I'm fully built for the most part and boosted

Have you verified the timing to make sure it's not off a tooth?

Your running megasquirt right? Are you using the cam input? If so look at the composite log in tunerstudio and see if it makes sense.

What are the odds of 2 coil packs being bad .. it makes sense but I'll try another just in case. And its not running mega that I know of cuz I have the obd2 still I got the car like this and re built it. It used a aem fic from my knowledge that's the only tune

Ok. Couldn't remember and since you don't have a build profile (poke poke), I couldn't look up the current mods you have.

I would check timing and see what software you need to access the FIC. Knowing what that's doing will be a big help too.
