problem with my dsmchip.. HELP

to the pros who are running with jeff's chips. I have a 2g eclipse 97. and i just rec'd the 95 eprom ecu with the chip today. i hooked it up and the darn car would not start but it would just sputter and do nothing. i switched back the old ecu and it started fine. i really was waiting for this package for a while but i don't know what's wrong. i heard that there was something i needed to do like switch the plugs because of the firing order? please help.

i read that you need to switch plug wires, 1 and 2, and, 3 and 4, if you read up on the website, it tells you

good things. I did just that and it worked. All from looking at dsmlink's website. Oddly enough i thought i read everything about the chips. now for some tuning....
