Hey guys I have 550's, walbro 255, afpr, and a 2g mass. I know the 2g mass and the 550's are supposed to cancel eachother out and my car seems to be running pretty good. But do you think that it would be worth it for me to get the stage 3 dsm chip?

What I mean is that a 2g mass is supposed to be 20% more air flow over the stock 1g mass, and the 550's are supposed to be 20% more fuel than the stock 450's.

I know what you meant, and it's not true.

550's are about 18% more fuel.

The 2g MAF doesn't have a constant % that it is less than a 1g MAF. At lower airflows it might be close to 30%, and at higher airflows is might be 22%.

DSMChips is the best tuning deal out there. Of course any car will run better if its tuned properly, whither that's with a S-AFC/II, DSMlink, or EMS. Why? Because each car is different and needs to be tailored to that car. Even a S-AFC on a stock DSM would produce some noticable gain ( dyno tune with a wideband probably ). You will be amazed after installing the chip. Just order up what you want, have your ECU socketted and voila! You get a new car back.

Power is in tuning.

FYI, 550s give 22% more flow then 450s, 18% is the ammount of negitive correction you need to compensate for 550s.
450 + 22% = about 550, but 550- 22% = 429. 550- 18% = about 450.
its all simple math, subtract 18% from any number then add 18% to that and you will not get the same number you started with, you would need to add 22% to get the original number.
