I just took my MR cat-back for my 96 Talon TSI AWD to a garage to have it installed. I later get a call that nothing is lining up. The adapter to go to the stock cat is way too big and it doesn't seal correctly. The hanger is on the driver side and the piece coming off of the car to hook it onto is on the passenger side? Then the end of that pipe is hittin the floor of the car. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM??? I NEED HELP! I have an appt. for it to get painted tomorrow and theres no exhaust on it for me to get it there. what should i do?

a-hopefully be able to get a refund and return it

b-tell the garage to make it fit and do some bends or whatever they have to do.

or anything else you guys can think of to get this thing to work.

:talon:

There is suppose to be a extra piece that hooks up to the stock cat, and if you didnt get that its only suppose to hook up to tehre dp.

What is the piece they gave you to hook up to the stock cat, is it some type of flange?

yeah. there's one that necks down to use on the stock cat. and then there's one on there to hook up to their 3" downpipe. I am connecting mine to my stock cat with their necked down one and its still not sealing. the hanger for it is also on the opposite side, does anyone know if the front wheel drive models mount onto the opposite side?
