Haltom City,
okay heres the case..i surely dont know too well about my car..well what is the name of the belt thats behind the alternator belt (more towards the driver). It is not the power steering belt for sure, but problem with it is..the pully that holds the alternator belt and that "unknown" belt is loose and I am able to push it in or pull it out farther. Well problem with this situation is that the unknown belt is not all the way in right and it is causing the tearing of my alternator belt. I'm just wanting to know if this is normal for the pully being able to be moved like that with hand force. I also want to know if anyone can tell me where the tensioner for this belt is..thanks

There are 3 belts:

One goes from the inside ring your crank pulley to the air conditioning unit. This one is the one that is closest to the timing belt cover by your crank pulley and stretches toward the back of the motor (close to the firewall). You apply tension by tightening a bolt on the tensioner arm. The tensioner arm is located between the motor and the firewall.

The second belt goes from the outside ring of the crank pulley to the alternator and the outside ring of the water pump. This belt is tensioned by tightening a bolt that faces towards the front of the car. Its attached to the alternator and the metal L bracket that holds the alternator on.

The third belt goes from the inside ring of the water pump to the power steering.

Sounds like your cranky pulley/harmonic balancer has separated causing AC belt to jump out of alignment as well as shredding the alternator belt, the solution is to replace the pulley.

So if I need to replace the pulleys..which pulley would i be replacing? the water pump? or the alternator?
If it is the harmonic balancer, you will be replaceing the "pulley" on the crank shaft.
