I have about 2 inches of freeplay in my clutch, and the clutch isn't disengaging all the way, so I figured I have to adjust the pedal. but when I went to break the nut loose to adjust the rod, the nut wouldn't break loose, the rod and nut just both spun together.

how do I get it loose?

No No No... the nut don't move son. You turn the screw where it connects to the little black box! I just got done doing mine!

Where it say's Upper Adjuster... you turn the black box and use the nut the tighten it where you want it to stay!

If this was what you're referring to! Or are you speaking of the rod adjuster in the picture? Wait! Now I'm confusing myself!

vice grips to hold the rod while you turn the nut. have to be able to jam the nut again after the adjustment.

Talking about the rod adjuster, I need to adjust freeplay, not height.
