I want to know what primer i should use on my engine bay. The bay is down to bare metal in areas and has just little paint left on it. I was told use epoxy but have no clue. Im new to painting. Any help on what to primer with will be great. Im going to do base coat/clear coat.

If you want it to last a long time i would just shoot it with a single stage urethane. No need to base clear in the engine bay.

Ok but isnt base/clear stronger and what came out of factory with?

Also which primer should i use? The are 2k primers, high build, primer filler, epoxy i dont know which to use on my bay i have welded holes were i deleted sensors. Also covering big holes on left and right of fender
