Prevent Rust

Is there a way to prevent rust in the manifold? I'm thinking about purchasing a 2G ported manifold from a forum member, for around 100 bux plus shipping. I wouldnt want to buy it, and then have it rust soon. Any suggestions to avoid rust in the manifold, and other parts?

You could have it ceramic coated. Or use high heat paint.

The Paint will avoid rust? Or just cover it up?

Rust forms when moisture and oxygen hits metal and causes a reaction. If you coat it with paint, then neither will reach the metal and therefore no rust will form.
