Would a pre turbo exhuast leak have a wierd noise associated with it? Or could my wastegate be making these wierd ass sounds when ever I hit more 11 psi?

Its kind of a rapid fluttering noise at above 11 psi. Can't really explain it better than that. Just started doing it yesterday. The turbo is a 14b. No in and out. Minimal side to side.

I recently had a crack on my exhaust manifold and it made a high pitched chirp/ticking noise. I initially thought it was my lifters but there was a a 3 inch crack going across two of the turbo bolts. However, the noise went away once the manifold heated up from the expansion. Why not post a video?

I dont have anything to post a video with. You have to be driving around 25-30 mph for it to happen.

I have my MBC set to 16 psi and it doesnt start making this noise until 11 or so and my droid would only record wind rushing by if I held it out the window and did it.

Its not really a ticking noise. Initially I feared my turbine was making contact with the turbine housing but that appears to be an invalid possibility as there is no side to side play really. Zero in and out.
