When ever I start the car up, with the hood up, exhuast comes from either manifold or below it. it also has trouble starting. Can this because of exhuast leak? But I noticed there was 1 bolt missing on the stok. down pipe and stock stock manifold, so I put the bolt on down pipe and torqued down but I go put bolt in manifold but the oem stud is stuck in there... So I have to take manifold off and see if I can remove the stud, but what else could be leaking? It also idles high around 1.1k and sounds a bit odd.

a similar thing happened to me. my gasket wasn't aligned with the dp. i changed the gasket on the dp and made sure it was lined up correctly and torqued correctly. As for the high idle might be because of the leak. are there any cracks on the manifold. that was my other issue.

Not that im aware of, in process of taking it off right now. I'm just stuck on this last pesky bolt.

I only had left-handed bits around to get my broken studs out but there's other stuff like easy-out if you don't already have those things.

Do boost leak test.
Does your throttle stick?
Is your biss screw adjusted properly?
Does it surge or just stay at 1100rpms

it does when warm... ive been trying.. idk what it is...
Give us a little info like.. What have you tried so far? Have you changed anything that would cause the problem? Is it still stock besides filter and exhaust as profile states?
Have you checked cable,vacum/boost leaks ?

no cracks and ive fixed all the studs... so idk wtf is going on, bad 02?

The car will still start with a bad 02.

I have had bad gas sometimes that caused hard starts and rough performance. I believe there was water contamination in the fuel.

Something to consider. If it stays revving high all the time I would start looking for vacuum leaks

1g exhuast manifolds are prone to cracking, probably have one on the bottom or something. 2g fits perfect and it doesnt crack.
