Im Putting in a new motor in my talon. Got a used built up motor for a sweet deal. The car I own came with an ACT 2600 clutch. Since I didnt buy the kit myself I do not have the torque specs or the allignment tool. Im busy all day with family so I dont have much time to search for it. If anyone knows off hand the torque specs and how to allign it without the tool Id greatly appreciate it. Thank you

If you work on cars long enough I think it winds up happening to us all. Take a deep well socket that close to being the size and then wrap it evenly in black electrical tape til it fits perfect. It'll be pretty close. I think the torque spec for the bolts that hold the clutch to the flywheel are 20 ft/pounds.

Awesome sounds like you know your stuff LOL I cant wait to try this. And I remember my Spec clutch on my merkur being 18ftlbs So 20 sounds good. Ill do 20. I just need to find a torque wrench that will go to 98 for the flywheel bc mine only goes to 75ftlbs.

This is exactly what i do as well, LOL. A 3/8 drive 10mm deep well socket with electrical tape on the BIGGER end works perfect, but only because the smaller side fits inside the pilot bearing almost perfectly. Make sure you can get it back out though.
