With knowing how restrictive the BEP .55ar housing is on a holset, and knowing that E85 increases back pressure, I am interested in finding out exactly how hard I am working my turbo at 32psi. My plan is to hook up a 5 bar map sensor pre turbo, but I dont want to drill into the BEP or the FP manifold I have. would it be of to tap into the wastegate runner on my ot housing it will be before the wastegate and before turbine wheel.

Here is the map sensor I plan to use.
AEM 30-2131-75 5 BAR MAP Sensor 75 PSIA Brass Sensor Kit Universal
or
AEM EMS Sensors and Replacement Parts - Fluid MotorUnion

or use an oil pressure sensor that I can move to my fuel pressure regulator to log fuel pressure when im done checking the back pressure
AEM Power 30-2131-100 - AEM Power PSIG Sensor Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

I plan to use about 2-3 feet of hard tubing to help disipate heat prior to reaching the sensor, so I dont cook it.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You may get skewed readings from that location once the wg opens. I would expect the best location would be on the manifold. A couple feet of copper tubing and then some hose should work well.

The EGR port will probably work just fine. I did this on my t/s hx35 setup a while back. Results weren't suprising. Started out below boost, ended up about 2-3 times boost pressure. I bet you might even see worse.

I jus drilled and tapped my EGR blockoff plate. Two 5 bar MAPs.. one for boost, one for drive pressure. Use a length of copper tubing to shed some heat in front of the sensor.

Note that this was for the intake side of the EGR hence having a vacuum line right off the brass fitting, you will want a segment of copper between the EGR port and the MAP sensor you are using for drive pressure.

At 37-38psi on the .55 Bolt-on BEP Housing I was seeing high 2.x:1 drive pressure on my S200sx-59. Swapped a bunch of housings on that turbo just for laughs, settled on the stock Airwerks divided T4. Picked up 5-6lbs/min at the same boost, IATs went down and drive pressure was almost 1:1.

That was with a 3" open down pipe and 1-5/8" primaries on a divided manifold.

Should mention these results were all with the large 74mm S200sx turbine, too.
