i searched and found a post that was 2years old and nothing in tehre really had anythign to do with my problem soo.... ok so i had a set of doors with power everything.. so i did the swap wiring and all and got a power window relay out of a spyder cause new they are $100 . i assumed since when i plugged my wiring harness in to the door jam plug and my locks worked that it was wired aswell for power windows.. but i cant get the windows to work.. i can unplug them and make them work by directly powering the motors but cant get them to work through the switch. ive got 2 red wires that are hot going into the relay but nothing coming back out.. im not a wiring genius but shouldnt there be a hot coming back out and going to the drivers or master switch? if anyone can help i would be very thankful. it only took me about 5 hours to do the swap and was pissed when i hooked everything up and still no power windows !!!:ohdamn:

Take a look at these diagrams for the power window circuits. There is a power relay under the dash (see last diagram, it is circled). This is where the main power comes from. Also check the fuse, it is possible that all the 'wiring' is there, but they may not have plugged in the fuses and/or relays....

Hope this helps...need rep points!

I would check to make sure you have power going through the switch. If you've got no power at the switch, then it's probably something that was left out with the original factory option set, or a blown fuse.

Also, forever and a year ago, I got a wild hair up my butt to put my window switch into my center console on my 99 Eclipse RS. I had all sorts of problems getting it to work, but I remember eliminating the passenger switch and having to integrate the wires from that circuit into the driver control switch in order for everything to function. It's been almost 7 years since I did that, and I'm almost 100% positive that the windows won't work without the passenger switch box plugged/wired in to complete the circuit. You might give that a try...
