power steering removal

i took everything out even the two lines going to the rack. is it okay to just capp both the hole on the rack or should i route them together with a short hose. now i have it capped off. will there be anything wrong capping them?

one thing too, i also did a timing belt change myself according to the vfaq and was wondering if there a way to double check if all the installations are correct.

i was thinking that i should tdc it and make sure all the timing marks are align. if they are all align, i should be good right. i've been driving for a bit now putting about close to 100 miles on it.

I would loop them with a short hose, it will turn a little easier as it's not fighting the pressure. If you followed the VFAQ on the timing belt change than you should be fine.

Yea loop them at the rack. I took a small pc of high pressure hose and it is very easy to turn and drive even at slow speeds. I left fluid in the rack too.

thanks alot for the fast reply. i'll check vfaq if i can find anything.

one other thing that i forgot to mention. i have ksports on the car when i bought it. every time i hit a pot hole small or big, seems like the strut likes to hit the frame likes it's out. just the driver side only though.

I did mine and can't tell you how it'll work yet, as I've not finished with my rebuild. here's a pic' of what mine's looks like.
