Power Steering Leak

I have a power steering leak from this line. It is leaking from the bottom drivers side of the car. If you follow this line toward the firewall and down, where it connects to what looks like possibly a hard line(there is also a bracket here) is where I believe the line is leaking from. Can i just replace some washers or gaskets and fix this??? If so, PN would be great. Thanks guys.

If I remember correctly that fitting is a flare fitting. Check to see if the fitting is loose. If not dry up all the fluid as best you can, then run the pump. See if you can tell exactly where the fluid is coming from. My be a bad hose,lose fitting. I know it's a hard one to get to. Get a mirror or two to help. And do good job wiping off that extra fluid.

Ya, I cleaned it up as much as possible with out lifting the car off the ground. I am picking up a new pressure line tomorrow from autozone. $40.00 hopefully that will fix it, i will get more of an idea once its in the air on the lift too. There is just a ton of fluid and grease down there, its been leaking for a while im guessing. I just bought this car last week.

So the hose I got from Autozone, FAIL. The fitting that connects to the hardline is too big. So I cleaned up the old one, and tossed her back in. We will see how she holds up.

Ya, I hate it when part dont fit. Did you clean the fitting with some emory cloth or some scotch pads? being very gentel in the procces,so not to take metal away.
How is she holding up?

No i did not, i just cleaned it up with a rag, i think it is still leaking but not nearly as bad. I found the whole hose, with hardline for 20 bucks on ebay, may go ahead and get it.

I will buy some stuff on ebay. 20 bucks sounds cheap, I just wounder about it quality. Maybe check out auto parts warehouse,or something along those line. i'll try to think of a couple more places that have stock parts. Z

Check rockauto.com I think there's were $26 and its all name brand the is I discount code in the vender forums for rockauto also

Autozone sold you the wrong part apparently. I wouldn't stand for that.

Ya man just take the one they sold u back to autozone an they shld exchange it for the rite one an you wlnt b out nemore cash than u alrdy are.

I returned the line, apparently thats the only line they hve for our cars. Whatever though. Ordered the one from rock auto, hopefully its the correct part this time.
