Power steering leak

While the trnas was out I though it would b a good idea to check out that lower rack that the fluid is in. On both ends there are rubber boots that looks like fluid is leaking at the clamps. I squeeze the passangerside boot and I hear air coming out the driver side.

Anyone know where to get these boots or what they are called?

If you are talking about the boots at the ends of your steering rack where the tie rods are, then you have a bad rack. Those are only dust boots. IF fluid leaks out then the seals underneath are shot. A re-man rack is going to be your best bet. Good luck.

Yep, those are only dust boots. If they've got any fluid in them you need to replace or rebuild you rack.

It's not as hard you think to swap. You'll just need an alignment after. The steering rack bolts to the undercarriage, tie rods bolt to knuckes, steering rod bolts to rack input spline, and lines attach to rack. Just make sure when you attach your lower steering shaft to the rack your steering wheel is nice and straight. Then you can eyeball you're toe till you get to the alignment rack.
