Hey,
I'm pretty good with cars but just wanted to know that if I upgraded say the intake manifold and throttle body. Will that let me make more power at the same psi as before, or will it raise the psi i run at??

The only thing that will raise boost is a boost controller sometimes openeing up the exhaust can cause boost creep but changing the IM and TB will not.

Given a constant PSI.. you can gain HP by freeing up the intake/exhaust tract just like on an NA car. As L2R warns.. to little restriction in the exhaust can have the side-effect of raising boost.

As an FYI.. the TB / Intake manifold upgrade is wayyy down on the list of typical DSM mods behind exhaust, boost controller, upgraded intercooler/plumbing, injectors.. even turbo.

thanks for all the info and i know that is down on the list. I just wanted to theoretically know what would happen. Thanks again.
