power loss at full throttle

friday i was getting on the highway and i punched it to get out in front of traffic coming off an on ramp, and when i hit full boost the power kind of cut out, and studdered a bit but was fine when i backed off. the only time this will happen is when i give it 90-100% throttle and i get full boost.

this happened a few hours after i took out my spark plugs to check the cap and condition of them and they looked fine so i put them back in. i dont know if this is related to my problem or just coincidence.

yes my mods list is current and im going to go make a home depot boost leak tester when i get a day off.

im mainly wondering, if the ecu retards timing because of excessive counts of knock will i get a check engine light? also will i get a cel from fuel cut?

I have having the same kind of issues with my 95 talon tsi awd a/t

and I installed a boost gauge tonight, and it seems i am loosing boost as I accelerate.

I had this problem until I changed my spark plugs to ngk bp7es and never had it again.

well thats good to hear about the spark plugs, ive got some new ngks im going to get in the morning. hope that fixes it.
