I am quiet interested to see what people are making on pump gas and with what setups. I don't want to have the hear say just dyno sheets.

Pls entail a copy of your dyno numbers and set up (not ever intricate detail)

I.E. pistons/cams/head work/turbo/injectors/intercooler/waterinjection/intake exhaust manifolds

Mods that really matter and affect pump gas setups dramatically are what Im interested.
Also leave how many lbs of boost and if you can what your timing and knock if you know this.

I have always loved keeping the car streetable and I want to see what real numbers have been made on pump gas. Thanks for your time.

well, I don't have access to an AWD dyno in my area, but I have run 13.0 on pump gas.

This is with only a 1.8 second 60' due to poor traction. I have never had traction issues before and now I can spin thru first and even get a bit loose in second on a prepped track, so I must be making some power now ;)

According to the online hp calcs, I am making just shy of 300hp to the wheels, and with awd drivetrain losses its probably just over.

This is also with a bone stock engine(no cams no nothing) stock intake manifold, cam gears etc.

I ran a 14b that I ported.

The big mods are 3" exhaust, enough fuel, 2g maf, and a small fmic. Water injection, and I think that one is the biggest one for pump fuel it really helps keep knock in check. I am running 19-20 psi on pump with a 14b. Car(and turbo) has 255000km on it.

stock non-eprom, just SAFC and logger.

No nitrous, fat heavy nearly 3200lb car(as raced).

Mods are in my profile, but basically 50 trim,fmic,190,650's,s-afc, Bone stock motor down to the TB.

I laid down 325 to all 4 wheels on a mustang dyno that reads low, this was with 23psi and some compresser surge problems. Only time out this year I ran 12.5 at 112 on 20psi and a boost leak.

I have since fixed my compresser surge and run 24psi daily, feels strong. Hopefully I can get out to the track next week.

Bbrooks made 601 WHP on 93 octane/methanol. Not sure on the setup.

super95awd made 521 WHP on 93 octane with a 2.3/FP3052.

See the 3052 is really tugging at me it seems to take well to just pump gas. I may use methanol but if I can make 500 on pump Im pretty sure that would suffice for me.

if you make 500hp on whatever setup you have on pump, you will make more with water injection. Its not the burning of the methanol that gives you power unless you are out of fuel. its the heat that is taken out of the charge mixture.

Methanol on it's own does make more power. Converting from gasoline to methanol on a car is typically worth about 15% more power, on a naturally aspirated motor.

For one I personally would not try and push that much power without atleast methanol for a safety net. Two, I really don't think 500 WHP on pump gas is a setup I would take for a daily driver. That's pretty close to the ragged edge of power production from a small motor, and ESPECIALLY if you're on a 2.0. And third, if you're trying to make that much power on pump gas I would just spend the extra 70 bucks and get the FP3065. There is nothing about the 3052 that makes it any more suitable for max power on pump gas than the 3065, it's kinda like how it was said on here for a while that a 50-trim will make more pump gas power than a 60-1 or a 56-trim because the 50-trim was thought to be so efficient. On a good built motor I don't think 500 AWHP/WHP on a FP3065 with methanol would be much of a stretch at all though.

on 91 in so cali i will be making over 400, maybe 450 at the wheels, i have a built 2.4, tre tranny, 60-1, 1000cc injectors, the whole 9 yards. ill post up some dyno graphs next month sometime when i dyno her.
