Filter cleaned, The Vac lines is a silver "Larso Hose Kit" from RRE.
Removing the engine AGAIN in the spring and at that point all of the bracket's remaining will be repainted.
The Valve cover is a "Crinkle Black" powdercoat.

Is that another Maroon TSi I see? finally, another one of my kind LOL... Thats a funky intercooler pipe setup you got there, half stock rubber, half metal, different colors. Interesting to say the least, but if it works that all that matters :thumb:

i dont mean to jack this thread but its kind of pointless to start a new one for such a similar question

I have a blue intake and anodized blue strut bar and oil cap....and i wanna paint my valvecover......im leaning toward metalcast red but i was also thinking about metalcast blue or high heat aluminum....tell me what u think thanks

i have a 92 white 1.8

i was thinking blue would be too much blue in one area, and red would be too 4th of july, and aluminum is too plain

paint it all metal cast blue or what ever color, then if it is too much you can go over everything but the letters with either white or aluminum... though on a light color like that I would sure look into powder coating for durability and "non-oil-stain-ablility".

you should sand that mount above the manifold.... eww rust.

You know... mine was never rusty.. but i opened the hood a few days ago and BOOM rusted just like that... maybe not driving it enough to bake out any surface moisture contributed to it instantly surface rusting?

and here's a few pics of my non color schemed, non color-coordinated, non completed under hood area... looks like the engine one was so ugly I deleted it...
