Post pics of your rear strut tower bars in your car

take a cup, squeeze the cup at the top, it bends inward, now stick something inbetween the top, now try to squeeze it...............

and then review pic, then try the plastic cup again, then pic..... somewhere in there a light bulb will be waiting.

This is such a simple concept that doesn't need any explaining. Some people shouldn't be allowed near cars.

it doesnt work like that. things dont always work they way they seem, especially on cars.

i have yet to see a stock dsm strut tower bar.

evo is a poor example. those things come completely riced out from the factory.

Riced out? LOL. Tell me exactly how a standard EVO4 is riced out buddy, maybe its because youc an't afford one? I don't know but you need to do a bit of research, strut bar actually, WORK, if you get a good quality one.

they do nothing other than look cool.

You need to do a lot of reading up on suspension systems if you truely believe that. I'm not going to restate what has already been said about strut bars and how they are beneficial. Just saying that you are completely wrong and if nothing else, at the very least go read a damn book on this subject or something...anything will help you as you have proven you already know very little on the subject.

have you ever autocrossed?? like ever? if you did, you would know you are automatically put into a higher and harder class as soon as you put a strut bar on your car. If you ever do go beyond daily driving and actually take some turns, you will see that they do make a difference.

and integra type r and GS-R come with factory strut bars. ITR suspension is one of the more stiff and well setup stock suspensions around.

I actually run a front bar and dual rear strut bar setup that i will post up as soon as i can borrow a digital cam.

heres' the same spot, i took the stock panel and my dremel and cut a fitting opening to cover up the attachment ponts

I just got my ebay strut bars and not sure if the fitment is right. It didn't seem long enough to be bolted down to the rear strut towers. I had to twist it so it would be longer, but not sure if I'm suppose to do that or not. Bolted it on to take photos and post here for confirmation. Please let me know. Yes, I know this is a old thread, but it's the same topic.

I bought these upper front and rear strut bars:

I belive how your supposed to do it, is install it the way you did, and then tighten the bar, since the threads are reversed, so you can tighten the bar up... then when you get the bar as snug as possible, then tighten the bolts over the bar.

Does anyone know here do you get the bars that go across the rear seat belts? And what they are called? (Not the buckle, the closest part to the rear windows)
