Can you take off the Eagle emblems on the front bumper and center taillight piece without it looking crappy? I wanted to do it but wasn't sure how to go about it, since it probably isn't like peeling the factory stickers off the side.

I took mine off the rear, i just used a hair dryer to heat up the glue and then i peeled it off, i think it looks clean. I'd take a picture but i'm far too lazy. Try it, if you miss it just glue it back on... :thumb:

never thought of usin a hair dryer... i used goo gone to get all the glue off after i peeled the letters off.

I'm talking about the actually Eagle emblem this one ----> :talon: The back one I think I probably could just peel off, but the one on the front bumper is sunk in. So I was thinking, maybe I could take it out, then use caulk to fill in the hole, smooth it down, and paint over it.

Yay or nay?

nay. caulk is not what you want to fill that hole.

you need to go to an auto parts store and buy an epoxy made specifically for repairing urethane or flexible bumpers. sand that stuff down and paint it. thats how i filled the gap on my 2gb :thumb:

I took off the front emblem and filled it in with body filler, then my car was painted.Very clean lookin'.I have to get some new pictures taken ,then I'll show ya how it looks.

This is your second warning in 5 minutes. Keep it up, and you will be posting elsewhere.

Or...I could creatively edit your posts...

Thank god, ha. That sounds like a fun little conversion you've got on your hands. I can't wait to see it when it's done. Don't put another big wing on it though, try and find a nice low-profile one. ;)
