ok, here is my problem. I was porting my inake manifold on my 97 GS_T so I can toss the 1G throttle body on. Well I stuffed the manifold with rags and went ahead and did it. The job came out amazing, but god shat on me. when I pulled the rags out, shavings fell down the runners and the hole that is RIGHT before the first runner. I grabbed my shop vac and started sucking them up. Then I made a coupler and shoved a vac hose down the hole... well i KNOW for a fact that i didnt get them all out. I know my final solution is to rip the ####ing thing out and clean it out, but that is a pain in the ass. Is there a way i can get the shavings out?

for gods sake help me

First off relax, LOL.

Now stuff the rag in so the last 3 runners are blocked. Stick the shop vac in the manifold mouth and take out the spark plug to that cylinder. Use a compressor through the plug hole to blow the crap back out the runner if you're lucky enough to have the intake valves open at all. If not, rotate it by hand until they are. If that's not an option, you're going to have to ghetto rig a tiny vacuum hose or something to shop vac and get it down in there. If worse comes to worse, I don't see a tiny amount of ultra fine aluminum dust hurting anything in the chamber. Its softer than anything else in there, it will be melted/crushed on its way through (don't ask how I know).

Tell it gets into the oil and molds itself to the bearings.

Even then, depending on fine it is it will embed itslef in the bearings and cause no real damage. Chances are it would get pushed through the exhaust valves and out the exhaust.
