Possible gains from a 1g throttle body on a 2g?

Thanks for the all the info guys, it seems, like there are mixed views about this. From all of this i seem to have gotten, that on my curent setup, I wont feel a difference.

I have very little done to my car. Including still being on the t25. I really need to get rid of this thing.. haha, but I will prolly go ahead and get one, but I can't port match, I don't have the tools nor do i know how.. does anyone know how much this should cost me if a shop did it?

Road Race Engineering charges like 90 bucks. you got to talk to them first before you bring the car in because they are always busy.

For $90 you can buy the tools to port yourself. Even a high speed drill with a carbide bit will work on aluminum. I bought a POS electric die grinder off of ebay for $20 and some bits for $15. Ive since ported my exhaust manifold, throttle body elbow, intake manifold, and my old O2 housing. A die grinder is a convenient tool to have.

Honestly, I dont think I would put a 1g throttle body in my car if it was going to cost ~$100 for the install. I did it for $40 total and it was DEFINATELY worth every penny.

just a question i have the BBK throttle body because i wanted to try something diff plus it's 62 mm a little bigger then a 1 g and complete bolt on but why has no one ever tried this well at least never have heard nayone talk about it is it because it's pricey vs just getting a 1g??

Just a bit off of the subject but still along a similar path... Could anybody post a link to "Porting 101" or "Porting Basics" or something similar? Thanks.
