i have my turbo disconected, as well as my exhaust, and i was curious, if i could benifit at all, if i were to port the heads exhaust ports just a bit, would it be ok to do, while still attached to block? i was just curius, thanks :thumb:

i wouldn't do it,because in order to port you have to take off material, that material is metal and it has to go somewhere, with the head on the block it only has 1 place to go,thats in your engine.just a thought.

i would make sure i block it off, so none could get in there
You can't.
Why? a single spot port job is meaningless. You have a small opening followed by a very large totally unblended large opening.

To port it CORRECTLY, not only remove the head, but also the valves, as some of the angles you need to get at are blocked by them.

just dont.

you wont gain anything if youre just gonna do the ports, in order to gain you have to port EVERYTHING in the head that has to do with airflow.
