Porting a 13G Turbo [1G]

I was googling around for some articles on DSM Turbos, and I found this article:Porting a 13G . I found it interesting because as some of you may know, I have a 13g Turbo. Since I'm not a millionare, I can't really go for all the upgrades at once so I am slowly going to save up and buy all supporting mods before upgrading turbo and injectors. That means that I will be stuck with the 13G a while. So... I was thinking... Is porting a 13G Turbo worth it? What effect will it have in performance and reliability?

13G Turbo and 14B Turbo. Search around the forum to learn more about each. They are Turbo Setups. Theres 13G, 14B, small 16G, big 16G, etc. Search.

itd be worth just buying one of my meny 14b exhaust housing and putting it on and geting a 1g or 2g exhaust manifold, i think it will fit on your turbo but not 100% sure..a ported 14b housing would be better then a ported 13g housing
