porting 14b

Hey so im looking to port my 14b, obviously i aint gonna try to do it but i was ondering where do i go? Imean do i go to a regular machine shop and say "hey dude i want my turbo ported". , What do i do? Any help thanks.

Seeing that you are in Miami, you must have some performance shops around. So yea like you said find a dedicated performance shop and say "hey i want my turbo ported".If its any kind of real shop they will know what you want and how to do it.

If you're affraid to port your own turbo, you shouldn't be changing your own oil. No one will ever port your turbo (or stuff in general) better than yourself because the key in porting is in the details and amount of time spent, something most vendor ported $100 port jobs are lacking.

I paid a "DSM" shop years ago, before I really got into DIY, $200 for a 3 piece port job (manifold, turbine and O2). Years later after I got into porting, I discovered the shop did about 20% of what I would considered an acceptable 3 piece porting. If you're unwilling to do it yourself, don't waste your money.
