port existing exhaust manifold or purchase new tubular manifold off of ebay?

Because money is tight, I was wondering what is the better investment, having my existing e. manifold ported or replacing it with a pacesetter or some type of low quality tubular exhaust manifold??? btw, how much does it typically cost to get an exhaust manifold ported? check my info for mods I have thus far. thanks for the help.

Port the stock manifold or buy a NON-ebay AM manifold. Porting the OEM manifold can be done by Buschur, RRE, almost any speed shop. We do it as well. PM me for details. Best of luck.

dude, theres a bunch of threads on here about porting, why spend 75$ plus the shipping, plus being without your exhuast manifold for a 3-4 business days, just do it yourself, theres plenty of walkthroughs on the internet about porting, really all you need is a Dremel or a small rotating device, and a Carbide Cutting drill/dremel bit, if your that scared to do it yourself, or youd rather wait all the time and spend 80$, then you can ship it out to someone that will do it "proffesionally"

I 2nd ^^^. Also if your car is a daily driver then a tubular wouldnt be the best idea because they are more prone to cracking unless you weld brackets to the header for support, but that still wont guarentee no cracking. So if you go with another mani. then get a cast one, like the evo 3 or sbr cast exhaust mani.
